OBS Information Technologies was formed in 1984 by Jim S Owens.

Jim had at that time over 25 years experience in owning and managing automotive wholesale and retail firms in north central Oklahoma.  In addition he had developed the computer management system for his own companies.In 1984 he reached a decision to leave the family owned business and begin to market a version of his management system. 

This system was converted to one that could be installed on a variety of computer hardware and operating systems.In the years since 1984 the system now known as the OBS Management System has been constantly expanded and refined to allow successful installations in many different industries.

The sales and service staff has been with the company for many years and can install and train customers in the use of the OBS Management System. 

We find that in many cases, the proper implementation of a total management system can greatly enhance the profitability potential of the customer, as well giving the management much better control of all aspects of their company.

We normally operate in Oklahoma and Texas, however, we have successful installations as far away as California and New York.
